T5 Rockton
T5 Terock : expedition camper based on the T5 with a unique lightweight aluminum interior. Seats 3 to 5, sleeps 2 to 3. Short wheelbase.
The Terock is a unique expedition camper based on the T5 with short wheelbase. The standard version has a 2.0 TDI engine with 62 kW and 5 gears, as an option you can get other engines up to 132 kW and other gearboxes : 6 speed or an automatic DSG gearbox. All engines are Euro 5.
Safety : ABS, ASR, ESP and hill stop.
Standard the Terock comes in front wheel drive, as an option you can get 4Motion 4x4.
The ultimate T5 expedition vehicle is our special version Terock Expedition.
For the Terock Expedition version we start from the already legendary T5 Rockton, which is a real offroad monster with short gearbox, more ground clearance and skid plates under the car.
The Terock seats and sleeps three. The furniture a placed in such a way that you can reach fridge, sink, cooker and storage room very easily. When you turn the front seats en fold out the table, you get a very comfortable sitting corner.
We mounted the Waeco CF35 compressor fridge on rails, you can reach it both from the inside as from the outside. The sink module you can easily take out so you can do the dishes standing outside. Even the cooker you can take out in no time and use it outdoors.
All the camping technique is mounted in fixed side panel modules. All the rest of the modules and seats can be taken out very easily by one single person. Once you stored the interior in your garage, you can mount extra seats if you want to use the car as a minibus (optional).
An Eberspaecher diesel/water heater is mounted in the engine compartment, the hot air comes out of the dashboard and out of the rear side panels. This system uses very little current, is extremely silent and can be used to pre heat the engine in winter.
Most of the modules in the interior have the right dimensions to take plastic “Euro boxes”, so that the available space can be used in an even more optimized way. At the sides we also mount our “easy use” system, which is a special rail on which we mount several special bags for e.g towels, dirty laundry. We also mount curtains and two LED spots on this rail. Downstairs there’s a 0,9 x 2 m bed, under the sleeping roof there’s a 1.20x2 m bed. When you order the car without a sleeping roof, the kitchen will be less high and the car will come with a 1,4 x 2 m bed downstairs.
You can get the Terock with three different roofs :

- Fold up roof with Open Sky system. This is a second fold up roof integrated in the roof, of which you can zip open the tent so tat you can fold open the cover completely. This way you can sleep under the stars, or drive the car with the roof open, which gives you a real cabrio feeling. Finally you can use the Open Sky as a lookout for spotting.
- Hightop with bed. The Hightop Terock you can also get in the winter camper version.
The Terock can be ordered with the Rockton Expedition Package. The Rockton Terock Expedition is an improved 4Motion 4x4. The gearbox has a shorter final drive which brings down the topspeed but which improves the power at the wheels impressively. This makes a huge difference when offroading. The Rockton Terock Expedition has a differential lock at the rear, 30 mm more ground clearance, 16 inch wheels and underside protection plates. Further options are a spare Wheel carrier at the back, extra lights up front, a winch, an air compressor, auxiliary tanks for water and fuel, a snorkel or a roofrack. Actually everything you need to transform your Terock to a real Offroad Expedition Camper.
